These general terms apply to bookings of villas and services made through vacationinibiza.com. The website is operated by Property Services Ibiza ESPJ, trading as Vacation in Ibiza, NIF E19416288, Via Punica 2/3E, 07800 Ibiza (Illes Balears), Spain (info@vacationinibiza.com, +34 601 86 86 88).

Each villa has its own specific conditions, shown on the villa page and in your booking confirmation: rates, minimum stay, payment schedule, security deposit, check-in and check-out times, house rules and cancellation policy. Where those villa-specific conditions differ from these general terms, the villa-specific conditions apply.

1. Enquiries and quotes

Availability and prices shown on the website are indicative. A booking only exists once we have sent you a written confirmation and received the first payment stated in it. Quotes are valid for the period stated in them.

2. Prices and payment

Rates are per night for the whole property unless stated otherwise. Unless your booking confirmation says otherwise, payment follows the schedule shown for the villa, typically a first payment on booking and the balance before arrival. If the balance is not received on time, we may treat the booking as cancelled by you.

The Balearic sustainable tourism tax is charged per guest per night as required by law and is not included in the villa rate unless stated.

3. Security deposit

Most villas require a refundable security deposit. The amount and the moment it must be paid are shown for each villa. It is returned after your stay once the property has been checked, minus the cost of any damage, missing items, extra cleaning or unpaid extras.

4. Guests and occupancy

Every villa we offer holds a tourist licence that sets a maximum number of guests. That number may not be exceeded, including visitors staying overnight. The lead guest must be at least 18 years old and is responsible for the behaviour of the whole party. Spanish law requires us to register the identity document details of all guests aged 14 or over.

5. During your stay

Please follow the house rules of the villa, respect the neighbours and keep noise within the limits set by local regulations. Parties and events are only allowed with the owner's prior written permission. Pets are only allowed where the villa conditions say so or with prior approval.

The owner or manager may enter the property for maintenance, pool care, garden work or emergencies, with notice where possible.

6. Cancellation

If you need to cancel, tell us in writing. The cancellation conditions of the villa you booked determine which payments are refundable. We strongly recommend taking out travel insurance that covers cancellation.

If we have to cancel because the villa becomes unavailable for reasons outside your control, we will offer you a comparable alternative or a full refund of what you have paid.

7. Additional services

Services such as transfers, chefs, boat charters, car rental, massages or childcare are provided by independent local partners. We arrange them on your behalf; the partner's own terms apply to the service itself.

8. Liability

We describe each villa as accurately as we can, based on information from the owner. We are not liable for temporary interruptions of utilities such as electricity, water or internet that are beyond our control, for construction work nearby, or for loss of or damage to guests' belongings, except where caused by our own negligence. Use of the pool, jacuzzi, gym and other facilities is at your own risk; children must be supervised at all times.

9. Complaints

If something is not right during your stay, tell us straight away so we can fix it on the spot. Complaints raised only after departure are harder to resolve and may not be accepted if we had no chance to act.

10. Applicable law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. This does not affect the mandatory consumer protection rights of the country where you live.
